What is Flor Affair

Flor Affair is a very special floral business that combines flowers with design and culture to provide its customers and members with a truly unique range of services and floral arrangements.

Flor Affair draws on inspiration from, for example, events in time, ethnic cultures and the world of art. There are three stems (pardon the pun) to the Flor Affair business – Our Subscription  business, provides a range of choices to our customers to enhance their homes. Our Corporate business, promoting and providing amazing floral arrangements to offices all over Ireland and our flowers direct business that provides a unique  supply of high quality fresh flowers with additional options like our partnership with One4all Gift Cards that can be ordered online for immediate delivery.

Subscription Service – Here’s how it works:

Flor affair Subscription service is a unique fortnightly floral service that brings bespoke designed and themed floral arrangements to your home. Our flowers are of the highest quality and so too is the design and information provided with each arrangement that will be as looked forward too, almost as much as the flowers.

Do I have choices?

Yes, as a ‘member of the Audience’ you may choose to receive your flowers ready for display, simply take them out of the box they are delivered in, place in a clean vase with fresh water and enjoy!

As an Actor, you will receive your flowers pre-cut in a flat pack and a link with each delivery to view a demonstration from one of our florists as to how to care for and arrange the flowers. This will be a fun and enjoyable and a great learning experience for you.

Become a ‘Front row ‘ audience member in our theatre of flowers and get an even bigger arrangement of flowers ready for display, simply take them out of the box they are delivered in place in a clean vase with fresh water and enjoy!

Finally, if you fancy yourself as a bit of a budding florist become a ‘Star Performer’ you will receive a bumper supply of flowers pre-cut in a flat pack and a link with each delivery to view a ‘Star Performer’ demonstration from one of our florists as to how to care for and arrange the flowers. This will be fun and enjoyable and offer you an even bigger challenge for you. Whatever you decide our Florists will do everything they can to meet your needs and may even reach out to you for clarification of what you’d like. We’re constantly working on fine-tuning this service, so feel free to let us have your suggestions and feedback!

 

 

Subscriptions specific questions

  1. How do I give a Flor affair subscription as a gift?

Simply choose which subscription you want and the length of the subscription using our online order form and we will do the rest

  1. How often will I receive a shipment?

Your fresh flowerswill be delivered every second Friday

  1. Can I just hold off on my delivery for a few weeks?

Yes of course, if your heading off on holidays or any other reason you need to suspend your subscription we would ask that you let us know 5 days in advance.

  1. Can I redirect to my subscription while I am away on holidays?

Great idea! Why not redirect your flowers to a relative or friend while you’re away, just give us 5 days’ notice and we will take care of the rest.

  1. How can I upgrade my subscription?

It’s great to hear that you’d like to become a Star Performer or move right up to the front row of the Theatre of Flowers™ To upgrade your subscription, simply contact us, or email customercare@floraffair.com,and let us know to which plan you’d like to upgrade. We’ll be happy to make the necessary adjustments to your payments.

  1. Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Toprovide the best overall customer service possible, we take as much care of customers who choose to pause or cancel their subscription as those members who choose to continue. If for any reason you want to cancel your subscription, simply contact us at least 5 business days prior to the charge date and we will either pause or cancel your subscription per your request! We require 5 days to ensure enough time to process the cancellation. Should you ever wish to restart your subscription, we’ll be here waiting for you ready to serve.

 

Questions Regarding Shipping and Delivery

  1. Order and Delivery email Confirmations.

After your order is submitted, you’ll receive a series of emails with the status of your order. Please be sure to enter a valid email address when you provide your billing information to ensure that you receive them.

1: Order Confirmation email: This email will let you know that your order has been received. If you don’t receive this email, please reach out to us right away at:
01 8900 242 or sending a email to customercare@floraffair.com to ensure that your order is being processed. You can also try checking your spam folder.

2: Shipping Confirmation email: This is to let you know that your flowers are out for delivery.

3: Delivery Confirmation email: This is let you know that your flowers have successfully been delivered. During our busy holiday periods like Christmas, Valentine’s and Mother’s Day, we may extend our delivery hours before 9.00am and after 20:00pm to make sure that all gifts are delivered on time. If for any reason your gift does not arrive on time, our dedicated Customer care team will do everything they can to help successfully resolve your issue.

  1. Have my flowers been delivered?

You can check the delivery status of your order by clicking on Delivery status button on our Home Page, and typing in your order number – the latest information on your order will be posted there. We rely on our drivers and delivery partners to inform us when the flowers are delivered. So during very busy times there can be small delays between when the flowers actually arrive and when they show as delivered on our system.

If you need to make a change to the delivery information, please email if you need to make any changes, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to facilitate your request. Please note that changes to the delivery address must be made prior to delivery and may cause a delay with delivery.

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been shipped we will do our very best to halt the delivery. In some cases we may be able to re-route the delivery to a different address. In such cases a re-delivery fee may apply.

We are not able to provide a refund for orders cancelled after they have been sent out for delivery. In such circumstances a fresh bouquet has been made up by our florists, packaged and sent for delivery. These flowers have been cut and cannot be resold.

  1. What happens if no one is home to receive my shipment?

If nobody is home when delivery is attempted, our drivers will try to contact the recipient on the contact number provided. If there is no answer from the recipient, the flowers may be in left in a safe place (if possible) or with a neighbour delivery is attempted, our drivers will usually try to contact the recipient on the phone number.

If the recipient is unreachable and alternatives are not available, then our drivers will keep the flowers and reattempt delivery the next working day.

  1. How can I update my delivery address?

To update your delivery address, simply contact us, or email us at customercare@floraffair.com, and let us know the new address you would like to have you flowers sent to! To ensure that your new address will be applied to your next delivery, please send your request at least 5 days before your next delivery is scheduled to arrive.

  1. Where do you deliver to?

Flor Affair can deliver all of its services throughout Ireland both North & South. We offer same day delivery to Dublin City and County and next working day delivery anywhere in Ireland.

  1. What are the latest times for ordering?

For next-day deliveries, orders must be received by 15:00pmthe previous day. For same-day deliveries to Dublin, orders must be received before 11.00am

  1. Do you offer weekend delivery?

We offer Saturday and Sunday delivery in Dublin City and County.

Deliveries are also available on public holidays but will incur a premium delivery charge. We deliver nationwide Monday to Friday.

  1. Can Flor Affair make an urgent delivery of Flowers?

At Flor affair we understand that life can throw up some challenges from time to time and an unexpected event or overlooked occasion might arise. In this event please urgently contact our concierge service at concierge@floraffair.com . We will do our utmost to accommodate you and fairly quote you for the challenge you give us.

  1. Can I put a P.O Box as my delivery address?

Unfortunately, no. We ask that all customers use either a residential or business address for their deliveries.

  1. Do I have to be home to accept my delivery?

No! We do not require that you be home, nor do we require a signature to deliver your Flowers. Our delivery partners will do their best to successfully and safely deliver your flowers to you. If you’re not home, we will leave your flowers in a safe place at your address. If are unable to locate a safe place, we’ll contact you to coordinate.

  1. When can I expect my delivery to arrive?

Your flowers are scheduled to arrive between 9:00am and 17:00pm in the case of a workplace delivery and between 9:00am and 18:00pm on the day of your delivery in the case of a home delivery. During our busy holiday periods like Christmas, Valentine’s and Mother’s Day, we may extend our delivery hours before 9:00am and after 20:00pm to ensure that all gifts are delivered on time. If for any reason your gift does not arrive on time, our dedicated Customer Care team will do everything they can to help successfully resolve your issue.

  1. Can I add additional delivery instructions?

Please use the space provided on the order form to provide us with as much helpful information as you can. Additional special delivery instructions ca?n be made by contactingus, oremailing customercare@floraffair quoting your order reference number.

 

Questions Regarding Costs and Payment

  1. How much is delivery costs

Flor Affair delivery charges are as follows:-
1. Same day delivery to Dublin City & County is €9
2. Next-day delivery anywhere in Ireland for €8.50
3. Special concierge services – costs provided on request

  1. What is the policy for damaged items/refunds/redeliveries?

All ofour flowers & gifts are backed by our 100% Guarantee, which we’re proud to stand behind. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, for any reason at all, we’ll do whatever it takes to make it right. This includes offering a refund, redelivery or comparable exchange on your order. It’s all part of our promise to provide you with an excellent customer experience every single time.

  1. When will my credit card be charged?

We’ll attempt to secure authorization on your credit card at the point of purchase online. If there’s a problem securing this authorization, you’ll be notified on the spot and prompted to use another card. Once we receive verification of sufficientfunds, your order will be completed and transferred securely to us. Your account will be charged in 24 to 48 hours.

  1. Which credit cards or payment types are accepted?

We accept the following payment options:

  1. How can I recycle my packaging materials?

Most of the packaging items that we use are recyclable, and we encourage our customers to reuse, and then recycle the materials! We’re always working to help ensure our packaging is eco-friendly with a small carbon footprint. If you have any suggestions on innovative packaging materials, or recycling methods, please don’t hesitate to contact us and let us know.
• Cardboard and craft paper can be broken down and recycled with your local council recycling program or at your local recycling facility.
• Any Plastic packaging can be recycled with your local Council recycling program or at your local recycling facility.
• Our unique natural hessian that we often use has many future uses for you to enjoy.
• Many of our ribbons and other accessories may also be used by you again

  1. How to give a Flor Affair gift card for use on this site?
  • You may buy a specific Flor Affair gift cards that the recipient can use against the purchase of Flowers or subscriptions on the Flor Affair site.
    • As partners with Ireland’s leading gift card provider ‘One4all’ you can purchase a One4all gift card at any Post office or Online that can be used on the Flor Affair website.
  1. Can I add a gift card to my order of Flowers?
